Dynamic Drive System
and Piezoelectric Actuator
The
WAC Dynamic Drive System is a proprietary
bus developed by WAC Data Service that can
control not only piezoelectric actuators but
also electrovalves with a single cable. Each
actuator has bus controller integrated into
its case and each actuator can be configured
with its identifier.
The piezoelectric actuator for needle selection
in knitting machines uses a piezoelectric
element to quick select needles and also offers
low power consumption and the lowest voltage
(i.e. ±48v).
In addition, as it is combined with the Dynamic
Drive System, our piezoelectric actuator has
virtually unlimited scalability with respect
to the maximum number of feeders(up to 256).
